Right Way Signs of Chicago wanted to be a part of the history as the 2016 Chicago Cubs advanced to the World Series for the first time in 71 years.
A mural was designed and painted by Chicago sign painter Ches Perry, who has been a cubs fan since moving to Chicago in the late 1960s. The 12’x20′ mural was painted at Heritage Bicycles at 2959 N Lincoln Ave in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago. “Sign painting has always been a core service of Right Way Signs and being able to paint something that the fans could enjoy, take a photo in front of and be embedded in the history of Chicago is something that we really wanted to do as sign painters and Cubs fans”, Perry said. The mural will change to a new design if the Chicago Cubs win the world series. Thanks to Heritage Bicycles for providing the wall space.
