Ed Debevic’s is a Chicago icon. Many that grew up around the Chicagoland area have fond memories of going here when visiting downtown Chicago or attending a birthday part or an event here. The original location closed its doors in 2015, but in the fall of 2021 it re-opened its doors in a new location off Michigan Ave.
In 2019 Right Way Signs was contracted to help bring in a lot of new, colorful signage that we be added to some of the original signage that was saved from the original location. For the new signage, hand painted signs and mural were an important part of the space. One of the first murals to be painted was the “EAT DRINK LEAVE” mural with a painted image of a milkshake and colorful linework. This mural was designed by @esmeralda.draws and hand painted by sign painter and mural artist Ches Perry of Right Way Signs.

Other hand painted signage includes sign painting and mural work on the main and upper levels.
Another important element of the space is bright lights – which means neon signs. Right Way had the honor of bending, fabricating and install neon signage throughout the space.
